After 40 or more years in the real wholesale fashion industry I, have returned home to retire and enjoy playing with my art. I am sketching, painting, designing and consulting about my former world of fashion.

A few years ago I set up an Etsy site; you can take a look at some of my latest designs. On my Etsy site I am selling booklets  about entering the designing world.. There will be more instruction books to come. I also created a  Fashion Coloring Book for adults. the book is at the printers now. I am selling single pages already  for $1.00. There are more than 30 of them. You can now download them to your computer or phone for you to print out and color yourself. 

HOW I ENTERED THE DEERSKIN BAG DESIGN WORLD

While enjoying myself with art associations, painting, drawing. etc, I decided to make my daughter a deerskin messenger bag to carry around while she was interviewing for a new job. Everywhere she went she got comments and requests as to where she got the bag she was carrying. I began making more and added them to my  ETSY site . I make everything by myself. My knowledge of the garment industry over the years were being put to good use. I feel like I am back in the industry that I love. In Florida I was hired to create a fashion department at Palm Beach Community College;  where student would learn all about the wholesale garment industry, they would be prepared to enter. The first thing I did was set up professional sewing machines that Factories use to sew on. I wanted my students to learn all about how garments are made the professional way. After teaching for 11 years and having students winning fashion events I now want to share all that I taught them. I still have all my lesson plans and am sharing them on my web page and my shop. I sell them locally at Green Door Art Gallery in Webster Groves MO
